Days of Wonder – mistrzowie dojenia

small_world_coverO dojeniu ostatnio na Games Fanatic dużo. Dużo w kontekście Agricoli, trochę o Steam. W całym tym zamieszaniu zapomniałem o prawdziwych arcymistrzach, wyciągania pieniędzy z portfeli graczy, czyli o Days of Wonder. Wpiszczcie w wyszukiwarkę na BoardGameGeek’u frazę 'Ticket to Ride’: 10 wpisów. Memoir? Pozycji aż 15! Wiadomo było, że do ich ostatniej gry, czyli Small World’a dodatki pojawią się w miarę szybko i że będzie ich dużo. Ale mistrzowskim posunięciem jest to co zrobiło DoW: zrobienie konkursu na nową rasę / właściwość do tej gry, a następnie z pomysłów nadesłanych przez graczy, zrobić dodatek. Ale czemu ograniczać się tylko do jednego rozszerzenia? Zapowiedziane są już dwa!

Wprawdzie nie ma jeszcze rozwiązania konkursu, a na stronie wydawnictwa możemy zapoznać się z kilkoma statystykami, jak np. ilością nadesłanych zgłoszeń (251, w tym jedno autora tego tekstu ;) ). Zwycięzcy podobno zostali już powiadomieni i przypominam, że nagrodą jest w pełni zasponsorowany wyjazd na Essen… aha no i oczywiście, to że Twoja rasa/umiejętność znajdzie się w pudełku z dodatkiem. Ale jak samo Days of Wonder napisało, że oprócz zapowiedzianego na Essen 2009 rozszerzenia z nowymi rasami, jedno ze zgłoszeń było tak unikalne i niespodziewane, iż postanowili zrobić z tego kolejny dodatek, który ukazać ma się w 2010 roku. A na pewno to nie będzie ostatnie pudełko z napisem „Small World” na okładce.

    1. Fakt, GF to głównie ostatnio doniesienia o „dojeniu” graczy. Czyli dla wielu z nas wyczekiwanych i upragnionych dodatków. Pytanie jak odbierane w tej atmosferze są osoby które jednak chcą kupować nawet te nie najbardziej „potrzebne” dodatki?
    2. Co do nowych ras do SW to chyba każdy kto polubił tą grę czeka na takie rozszerzenie!
    3. Cały konkurs już od dawna jest w toku, czy nawet się skończył, a to, że bezie z tego jeszcze jeden dodatek….. WOW!
    Jak to lubię określać takie newsy …. to jest „news z d**p” (sorry Yosz, ale kompletnie nie rozumiem waszej krucjaty przeciwko „dojeniu” graczy, którzy często czekają na te dodatki i chcą ich!).

    Musieliście dać ten wpis akurat po sniadaniu? Przecież na widok słowa na „d” w tytule już posiłek podchodzi do gardła.

    Lubię Small World i o ile jeszcze niedawno bym powiedział, że oczywiście kupię dodatek, tak w ciągu ostatniego meisiąca stwierdziłem, że nie mam zamiaru kupić rozszerzenia jeżeli naprawdę nie wniesie dużo do gry. Przeglądając swoją półkę, stwierdziłem, że nie wiem czy kupię dodatek do Agricoli (widzisz co się ze mną porobiło? :P)

    Nie chciałem nikogo obrazić i zauważ, że nawet słowem nie napisałem, że to zły pomysł, na wydanie dodatków do SW – boję się tylko że DoW przegnie tak jak z Memoirem czy Ticket to Ride. Marketingowo Days of Wonder jest naprawdę swietną machiną.

    A to jak ten wpis będzie odebrany zależy od podejścia do słowa „dojenie / dojonko”. Myślałem że poprzez serię artykułów, traktowane jest z przymrużeniem oka – przynajmniej ja tak do tego podchodzę.

    Ale cieszę się, że moim artykułem przyciągnąłem Cię Tommy do zarejestrowania się na Games Fanatic :)

    Ten jeden głos oceniający artykuł na 1.0 to ja… :).
    Nie chciało mi się już pisać komentarzy na temat dojenia, żeby nie zanudzać, ale widzę, że mam nowe wsparcie w postaci Tommy`ego! Moje zdanie wyraziłem we wcześniejszych komentarzach.

    Nie pisałem też komentarza odnośnie dojenia, bo tak jak wspomniałeś Yosz, wszyscy już chyba traktują te artykuły z przymrużenie oka – znaczy nie czytają ich ;).

    Nie widzę sensu drażnienia się z czytelnikami, którym taka forma przekazywania newsów na temat ich ulubionych gier nie podoba się (ja wyraziłem swoje zdanie poprzez ocenę artykułu). Ale co ja tam wiem… Wrócę i ocenię poprzednie dwa artykuły, które były świetne. Może jednak raz na kwartał redakcja zrobi statystyki z tych ocen i wyciągnie wnioski.

    Naprawde mnie smieszy to ile tutaj sie pisze o rzekomym „dojeniu graczy”. Czy ktos nakazuje kupic te dodatki? Czy bez nich podstawa cos traci? Ja pierdziele – zawsze sie ciesze jak wychodza dodatki, z jednej prostej przyczyny. Jesli gra bardzo mi sie spodoba to bede mogl sobie je dokupic i jeszcze dluzej cieszyc sie danym tytulem. Ta (jak ktos to nazwal) „krucjata przeciwko dojeniu” robi sie powoli zenujaca …

    Hmmmmm, a słowo „dojenie” to pochwała i donre słowo na drogę? :-)

    Dobra, skończmy to, Wy piszcie co chcecie, a ja będę omijał takie wpisy, albo po prostu korzystał z nich żeby dorwać link gdzie zamówić te dodatki i dać się wydoić :-)

    Osobiście odbieram słowo „dojenie” jako nieszkodliwe; oczywiste jest to, że firmy produkujące gry wydają dodatki do popularnych tytułów – świadczy to, że rynek gier planszowych rozwija się jak każdy inny, czyli chyba o to chodzi ? Z drugiej strony nie przesadzał bym z poprawnością polityczną – jeżeli ktoś czuje się obrażony stwierdzeniem „drogi czytelniku, jesteś dojony” to proszę wybaczyć, ale czy mógłbym prosić o przykład zwrotów które nie są dla Państwa obraźliwe ?

    Głosuję także za tym, aby jednak uszanować wolność wypowiedzi autorów tekstów i uznać ich prawo do wyrażania się w wybrany przez siebie sposób; osobiście uzyskałem z powyższego artykułu informację o dwóch dodatkach do 'Small World’ i uważam go za rzeczowy.

    Ludzie są strasznie przewrażliwieni i biorą do siebie słowo „dojenie”. Przypominam, że bierze się ono od marketingowej „dojnej krowy” (jedna z faz życia produktu), czyli produktu, który jest w fazie dojrzałości rynkowej i przynosi największe zyski. Skoro fachowcy od marketingu używają takiego terminu, to o co się tak obruszać?

    Tu nie trzeba być przewrażliwionym!

    1. Dojenie jest zabarwione pejoratywnie i nikt mi nie wmówi, że nie.

    2. Chodzi o ilość wpisów tutaj w tym tonie. Nie da się już napisać notki o tym, że taki a taki dodatek wychodzi + link do info, może do miejsca gdzie to kupić? Musi być od razu magiczne słowo dojenie?

    PS. Przepraszam, ale wiem kiedy się nie pojawi! jak będą kolejne dodatki do R4TG!

    OK, Tommy, zgodzę się, że to już męczące, że w każdym artykule o dodatkach, jest o „dojeniu”. Ale z drugiej strony ja nie czuję się obrażony, jak było o „dojeniu” Agricoli.

    I tyle. Pozdrawiam.

    Tommy: ja już to pisałem kilka razy. r4tg jak najbardziej ma znamiona dojenia ;) Nowy zapowiadany Story Arc? Trzeci dodatek, chociaż niby planowane były tylko dwa ;) A to, że dam się wydoić to inna sprawa :P ok, kończmy to już ;)
