yinsh_boxYINSH to szósta gra wchodząca w skład projeku GIPF. Strategiczna, dwuosobowa i abstrakcyjna. Druga gra tego projektu wydana przez REBEL.pl.

Każdy z graczy rozpoczyna rozgrywkę z pięcioma pierścieniami. W trakcie gry, podobnie jak w GIPF, będziemy formować rzędy i zdejmować je z planszy. Jednak tutaj piony są wspólne, dwustronne (jedna strona jest biała, druga czarna) a jedynie pierścienie należą explicite do danego gracza.

Ruch polega na położeniu piona wewnątrz własnego pierścienia (własnym kolorem ku górze) a następnie przesunięcie pierścienia w dowolnym kierunku o jedno lub więcej pól. Jeśli jednak pierścień przeskakuje przez leżące piony musi zakończyć swój ruch na pierwszym wolnym polu położonym za tymi pionami. Piony te należy wówczas obrócić na drugą stronę (a więc z białych zrobią się czarne i na odwrót).

Kiedy gracz uformuje rząd składający się z 5 kamieni jego koloru – zdejmuje z planszy jeden ze swoich pierścieni. Może też uformować rząd należący do rywala i wtedy to on zdejmuje pierścień, co w pewnych sytuacjach może być ciekawym zagraniem taktycznym. Pierścienie to najważniejszy element gry. Pierścienie są siłą napędową, to nimi się poruszamy, to nimi blokujemy zagrania przeciwnika (pierścień nie może przeskoczyć przez inne pierścienie). Zdejmując pierścień z planszy stawiamy co prawda krok ku zwycięstwu (gramy do trzech zdjętych pierścieni) ale też osłabiamy siebie i to dość znacząco. To gra samobalansująca się. Nie ma mowy o kuli śnieżnej, o odskoczeniu od przeciwnika, o nabieraniu siły. Wręcz przeciwnie – depczemy sobie wzajemnie po piętach.

Linia oddzielająca zwycięstwo od porażki jest nadzwyczaj cienka. I to jest w tej grze pociągające. Nie jest przecież zasługą ani przyjemnością wygrać ze słabszym przeciwnikiem. Ale wygrać z mocniejszym – o, to jest to, co tygrysy lubią najbardziej. W YINSH, w przeciwieństwie do GIPF, wciąż balansujemy na granicy a przewaga nad przeciwnikiem jest minimalna. Nic nie jest z góry przesądzone – aż do ostatniej chwili mamy szansę wygrać lub przegrać.

YINSH jest tak podobne do GIPF, a jednocześnie tak różne od niego! Wydaje się, że jako samodzielna gra jest ciekawsze. Jeszcze bardziej odczuwa się potrzebę przeszkadzania przeciwnikowi – w GIPF układanie „czwórek” ma sens w zasadzie wtedy, gdy do tej czwórki będzie „przyklejony” jakiś (przynajmniej jeden) pion przeciwnika. W YINSH zupełnie to nie gra roli. Możesz ułożyć sobie trzy razy „piątkę” i zwyciężasz… i po to właśnie jest przeciwnik – on ci na to nie pozwoli :)

YINSH bardzo mi się podoba, co nie znaczy, że umiem w niego grać. Prawdę mówiąc – to ja nic nie widzę na planszy. Jest mi bardzo trudno dojrzeć związek pomiędzy pionami, przeciwdziałać posunięciom przeciwnika. Za to moja córka radzi sobie z tym rewelacyjnie.  W przeciwieństwie do GIPF, w którym to ja własnie potrafię sobie wyobrazić rozgrywkę wielowymiarowo, a ona niczego nie zauważa. Za moich czasów kursowało powiedzonko „każda zmora znajdzie swego amatora” ;) No właśnie. Dla mnie ten projekt ma jeszcze taką zaletę – każdy znajdzie w nim coś dla siebie.

Co znaczy ta ocena według Games Fanatic?
Gra tak dobra, że chce się ją polecać, zachwycać nią i głosić jej zalety. Jedna z najlepszych w swojej kategorii, której wstyd nie znać. Może mieć niewielkie wady, ale nic, co by realnie wpływało negatywnie na jej odbiór.
