Legendy polskie – Smok Wawelski i Król Popiel [Współpraca reklamowa z Granna] Wydawca nie ma wpływu na treść recenzji

W zeszłym roku Granna rozpoczęła wydawanie nowego cyklu gier dla dzieci, które mają za zadanie nie tylko bawić i rozwijać, ale przybliżać też polskie legendy. Na pierwszy rzut poszedł Pan Twardowski, którego w skrócie można byłoby określić jako dedukcyjną grę memory (albo skrzyżowanie np. Znikających ciasteczek ze Zgadnij kto to?) – najpierw musimy wykorzystując naszą spostrzegawczość określić co się zmieniło na stole, co dopiero daje nam prawo do podejrzenia wskazówki, która z kolei przybliży nas do odgadnięcia właściwej postaci.

Drugą grą, która przecierała szlaki jest Bazyliszek, również oparta na memory i rozwijająca przy tym postrzeganie strony prawej i lewej oraz lustrzanego odbicia.

Teraz dostaliśmy dwie kolejne legendy – Króla Popiela i Smoka Wawelskiego.

Smok Wawelski

Wiek, od którego można zacząć przygodę ze Smokiem to 4 lata i wydaje się być słuszny. Nie będzie tu żadnej rozkminy – to bardzo prosta gra polegająca na zdejmowaniu / dokładaniu żetonów, a konkretnie zdejmowaniu rycerzy z ogona Smoka a wkładaniu zwierząt do jego pyska po to, by paskuda wreszcie skłoniła się ku dołowi (w domyśle – napiła wody z Wisły).

Jest to gra rywalizacyjna a tura gracza polega na rzucie kostką i wykonaniu jednej z tych dwóch wcześniej przytoczonych czynności. Czy jest w tym jakaś decyzyjność? Rzut kostką wszak determinuje nam kolor rycerza / zwierzęcia. Tak, jest delikatna decyzyjność – otóż możemy wybrać z trzech opcji:

  • dołożyć zwierzę wyrzuconego koloru
  • zdjąć z ogona rycerza wyrzuconego koloru,
  • zdjąć rycerza który siedzi w miejscu w kolorze jaki nam wypadł na kostce.

Chodzi o to by głowa smoka na tyle zaciążyła, by go przeważyć – może zrobić sporą różnicę czy wrzucimy tam owcę, czy krowę. Wielkość ma znaczenie. Podobnie ze zdejmowaniem rycerzy – im bliżej końca ogona, tym silnej rycerz „trzyma” zwierzę ku dołowi. Ale też nie chodzi o to, by od razu smok nam się pokłonił – wiadomo, że zrobi to w jednej z ostatnich tur – czasem jest to naprawdę ostatni rycerz albo ostatnie zwierzę, czasem trochę wcześniej.

Dla dorosłego odbiorcy oczywiście nie jest to nic odkrywczego, ale dla czterolatka może być wyzwaniem… sztuka koncentracji i koordynacji ruchowej (aby ta owca się znalazła w pysku a nie obok ;)), kojarzenie zależności wynikających z odległości od środka ciężkości smoka, zwrócenie uwagi na wielkość zwierząt i oczywiście zapoznanie się z piękną polską legendą.

Król Popiel

Dla odmiany to gra dla nieco starszych dzieci. Rozgrywając ją w turach układamy fragmenty wieży niczym klocki w tetrisie starając się, aby sparować ze sobą jak najwięcej kropek, co w zasadzie przekłada się na to, by nasz klocek stykał się z jak największą liczbą fragmentów wieży tudzież innych klocków – bo na każdym takim fragmencie jest pożądana kropeczka. Liczba zaś tych kropeczek przekłada się na punkty zwycięstwa.

Tytułowego Króla Popiela przeganiamy coraz wyżej (wtedy, gdy dokładany przez nas klocek styka się z miejscem, gdzie właśnie znajduje się znienawidzony władca). Gdy dojdzie do samej góry – gra się kończy, myszy króla zjadły.

Sztuka logicznego myślenia i planowania aby jak najlepiej wykorzystać fragmenty układanki i miejsca na wieży a także odrobina losowości, gdy po zetknięciu się z Królem Popielem losujemy żeton nagrody (możemy otrzymać dodatkowe punkty, dodatkową turę etc.) oraz dwustronna plansza (różnią się one układem murów w wieży) to atuty tej gry. I oczywiście – jak w całej serii – piękna opowieść będąca wstępem do instrukcji przybliżająca nam legendę o złym królu zjedzonym przez myszy.

Jest mi bardzo trudno ocenić te gry w ich kategorii mając styczność z dziećmi w dedykowanym wieku zaledwie okazjonalnie, więc pozostanę jedynie przy rzucie okiem. Niemniej bardzo podoba mi się sama idea przybliżania dzieciom legend polskich poprzez gry planszowe, zwłaszcza, że produkty Granny są ładne, solidnie wykonane i najzwyczajniej w świecie cieszą oko.
