Okey, kolejna gra rodzinna na tapecie. Kto mnie zna, wie, że za takowymi średnio przepadam i wciąż szukam świętego graala, czyli gry prostej, do pogrania z każdym, ale wciągającej i mimo wszystko wymagającej. Buccaneer jest tego celu bliżej niż dalej. Na szczęście, recenzowanie gier z własnego koszyczka ma ten plus, że mogę opiewać gry przyjemne, co przy recenzowanych nowościach zasadą już nie jest. Nowe szaty króla – BoardGameGeek zmienia wygląd

Dzień w którym BGG – największy i najpopularniejszy serwis traktujący o planszówkach zmieni swój wygląd zbliża się wielkimi krokami. Trwają intensywne testy nowego wyglądu, do których zgłosiłem się jakiś czas temu. Sporo rzeczy wymaga jeszcze poprawy, ale strona jest praktycznie w pełni funkcjonalna. Po parunastu minutach przyzwyczaiłem się do nowego wyglądu i muszę przyznać, że jest całkiem wygodny. W rozwinięciu parę screenów żebyście też już mogli się przyzwyczaić do nowego wyglądu.

Wstyd się przyznać, ale przedwczoraj minęła dokładnie rocznica mojej pierwszej rozgrywki w Agricolę. A wszystko dlatego, że nikt mi wcześniej nie powiedział, że to gra oparta na mechanizmie worker placement, który uwielbiam. Kolega kilkakrotnie proponował rozgrywkę, ale zawsze wykręcałam się przeciągłym „Eeeeee…. może dzisiaj jednak nieeee”. Ale w końcu mnie przekonał, a duma też podszeptywała, że warto poznać numer jeden i dłużej już wstydu we wsi nie robić… Bo ta gra to o wsi jest. A dokładniej, o rozkręcaniu swojego własnego gospodarstwa.

W obliczu lekkiej noworocznej posuchy na recenzowanie nowości postanowiliśmy udobruchać Was recenzjami staroci, które z jakichś względów nie znalazły się dotąd w katalogu GamesFanatic. Ciekawe, czy zauważyliście, jakich wielkich tytułów nie znajdziecie w spisie :) Czekamy też na podpowiedzi, co wypadałoby nadrobić i uzupełnić. Jim Deacove jest mało znanym autorem gier w Polsce, choć od 1972 r. zaprojektował ich około 100. Wszystkie te gry są znane pod szyldem jego własnego wydawnictwa Family Pastimes z Kanady. W Europie kilkanaście tytułów zostało wydanych przez holenderskie wydawnictwo Sunny Games, zaś do Polski trafiły dzięki dystrybutorowi Familiaris.pl. Grupę docelową stanowią dzieci i rodziny, a idea tych gier jest jedna: grajmy razem, a nie przeciw sobie.

Historia powstania gry „Zakazana wyspa” sięga roku 2008, kiedy to wydawnictwo Gamewright zwróciło się z prośbą do Matta Leacock’a o stworzenie gry karcianej: kooperacyjnej, lekkiej i przeznaczonej dla szerszego grona odbiorców. Początkowo gra składała się tylko z 3 talii kart: pierwsza stanowiła planszę, druga skarby, a trzecia dotyczyła powodzi. Po pierwszych testach talię planszy zastąpiono płytkami. Tematyka gry również uległa zmianie i dziś, zamiast historii z kosmosu, mamy historię bardziej ziemską. Nie ulega wątpliwości, że gra mechanicznie czerpie garściami ze świetnej gry tegoż autora „Pandemic”, czerpie, ale nie jest wierną kopią. Potrafi żyć swoim własnym życiem i za swoją lekkość ...

Caylus – kolejny hit z Polski?
