Wykreślanki od pewnego czasu mają się nadzwyczaj dobrze. I okazuje się, że wykreślać można nawet w ramach mechaniki city building (choć to tak naprawdę pattern building). 

W pudełku

Dostajemy talię kart oraz dość pokaźnych rozmiarów bloczek z planem urbanizacyjnym miasteczka złożonego raptem z trzech ulic. Przy tych ulicach będziemy stawiać domy, czyli wybierać co rundę jedną z trzech dostępnych par kart (para to nr domu i efekt, czyli awers i rewers dwóch kart) – nr domu wpisujemy w wybraną kratkę zgodnie z regułą, że domy przy ulicy muszą być uszeregowane rosnąco (choć nie muszą mieć kolejnych numerów). Jeśli to zrobimy, a musimy to zrobić o ile mamy taką możliwość, możemy wykorzystać idący w parze efekt. A więc:

  1. możemy postawić płot pomiędzy dwoma dowolnymi sąsiadującymi ze sobą budynkami (nie pustymi placami!)
  2. możemy wybudować basen o ile nasz nowowybudowany budynek stoi na działce z miejscem na basen
  3. możemy posadzić park przy ulicy, przy której wybudowaliśmy dom
  4. możemy zatrudnić robotnika sezonowego – ten efekt działa w momencie stawiania bunynku: dzięki temu możemy obniżyć albo podwyższyć jego nr o jedno lub dwa oczka
  5. możemy zwiększyć wartość wybranego osiedla (osiedle to zespół sąsiadujących ze sobą budynków pomiędzy dwoma płotami)
  6. możemy wybudować budynek o tym samym numerze w ramach jednej ulicy – ale uwaga, za to otrzymamy na koniec gry punkty ujemne.

Wszystkie te efekty oczywiście polegają na wykreślaniu odpowiedniego pola (ew. postawieniu pionowej linii czyli płotu).

W wariancie zaawansowanym możemy ponadto dwa razy na grę wybudować rondo, które dzieli nam ulicę na … dwie uliczki, dzięki czemu nagle okaże się, że np. dziesiątka może się znaleźć na prawo od ósemki – wszak dzieli je rondo. Rondo kosztuje sporo punktów (za jedno stracimy 3pkt, za dwa aż 8) ale za to w pakiecie dostajemy dwa płoty (rondo otoczone jest płotami), co może się bardzo przydać, zwłaszcza na koniec gry.

Wykreślanka marzeń

No i teraz muszę przyznać, że – choć wykreślanki nie są moją ulubioną mechaniką – miasteczko marzeń faktycznie jest całkiem udaną pozycją. A nawet więcej niż „całkiem udaną”. Wydaje się, że wybory będą proste, ale takie nie są. Ograniczenie do rosnącej numeracji ulic – choć bywa najbardziej bolesne na końcowym etapie gry – wymaga planowania od samego początku.

Niebagatelną rolę odgrywają efekty – sporo punktów można wykosić za budowę basenów – za wszystkie 9 można zdobyć aż 36 punktów (przy 80-90 punktach za całe miasto to sporo).

Parki są o tyle sprytne, że każdy następny daje 2 punkty – chyba, że zrobicie wszystkie parki na danej ulicy, wtedy nagle z 4 skaczecie na 10pkt, albo zamiast 10 dostaniecie 18. Lepiej więc zaplanować budowanie wszystkich parków przy jednej ulicy niż po rozrzucać je przy całym mieście.

Zatrudnianie robotników daje niewielką przewagę (7 pkt. dla pierwszego miejsca, 4 dla drugiego, 1 dla trzeciego), ale za to ułatwia wstawianie numerków, bo czasem te dwa oczka o które można zwiększyć numerację domu zrobi wam wielką różnicę.

Najmniej udanym efektem jest Bis, czyli wstawianie tego samego numerka na ulicę. Nie dość, że jest słabszy niż zatrudnianie pracowników, to jeszcze kosimy za niego punkty ujemne. Choć z drugiej strony patrząc – pozwala załatać dziurę pomiędzy (n) a (n+1). Jeśli nie zamierzamy dzielić ulicy za pomocą ronda, to zwłaszcza na tej najdłuższej ulicy ciężko będzie upchnąć wszystkie budynki – przecież nie tylko numerki się liczą, ale przede wszystkim efekty, więc takich dziur możecie się spodziewać.

EDIT: w mojej interpretacji BIS-a wkradł się błąd: Bis to możliwość postawienia dwóch budynków w tej samej turze. Nadprogramowy budynek stawiamy na dowolnej ulicy, ale musi on przylegać do jakiegoś wcześniej wystawionego budynku i mieć ten sam co on numerek. W tym świetle – na pewno nie jest to nieudany efekt. Szkoda tylko, że nie wynika to jasno z tekstu instrukcji. Plus za Bis, minus za instrukcję. I minus dla recenzenta za niezrozumienie kultury obrazkowej ;)

Rondo jest bardzo mocne, zwłaszcza na koniec gry, gdy nie wychodzą płoty (albo nie możecie postawić budynku – a więc również wykorzystać efektu) a tu aż się prosi o zamknięcie jakiegoś osiedla. Drogo kosztują, ale jeśli przy okazji wykonacie plan urbanizacyjny (np. wykonie dwóch 5-budynkowych osiedli), za które też dostaniecie punkty, to się opłaca.

Te wybory naprawdę nie są oczywiste.

Wariant ekspercki

W normalnej rozgrywce mamy trzy stosiki kart – z każdego odkrywamy po jednej i w ten sposób dostajemy parę awers + rewers. Każdy z graczy może wybrać dowolną parę. Na dobrą sprawę wszyscy możecie wybrać to samo. Na jeszcze lepszą sprawę wszyscy możecie ROBIĆ to samo (czyli wykreślać to samo) – tylko co to będzie za zabawa?

W wariancie eksperckim (poza dodatkowymi kartami planów urbanizacyjnych – a te podnoszą regrywalność, gdyż jest ich 28 podczas gdy do gry wchodzą tylko 3) zmienia się sposób wyboru kart. Każdy z graczy dobiera z talii trzy karty, z czego wybiera dwie (awers + rewers) a trzecią przekazuje na zasadzie draftu (w każdej następnej rundzie dociąga się już tylko dwie karty). To powoduje, zarówno większą losowość jak i większe możliwości, gdyż karty można łączyć w pary w dowolny sposób. I jest to zdecydowanie ciekawszy sposób na dystrybucję kart.

Ale jak bloczek się skończy to można go z BGG ściągnąć i wydrukować :)

Co znaczy ta ocena według Games Fanatic?
Bardzo dobry przedstawiciel swojego gatunku, godny polecania. Wady mało znaczące, nie przesłaniające mocno pozytywnego odbioru całości. Gra daje dużo satysfakcji.

    Co oznacza, że bis stawia się „w ramach jednej ulicy”? Czy chodzi o tę samą ulicę co liczba? Jeśli tak, nie jest to prawda, można go postawić gdziekolwiek, wynika to nawet z karty pomocy. Poza tym w analizie jakościowej tej akcji specjalnej zabrakło wspomnienia, że dzięki bisowi wstawiamy DRUGI dom w tej samej turze, co w przypadku wyścigu o karty celów ma kolosalne znaczenie. Sprawia to, że odpowiednio użyta akcja bis jest najmocniejszą akcją w grze.

      Ciekawa interpretacja….
      Niestety nie wynika to jasno z instrukcji: „BIS: możesz wybudować 2 domy z tym samym numerem na dowolnej ulicy. Drugi dom musi przylegać z lewej albo z prawej strony do domu, który ma ten sam numer, i znajdować się na tym samym osiedlu przez całą grę”. Jak dla mnie to brzmi jak pozwolenie wybudowania bliźniaka z tym samym numerem, czyli złamanie podstawowej zasady gry. Że na tej samej ulicy to już w świetle tej interpretacji formalność. Że to mogą być dwa domy w jednej turze… na to nie wpadliśmy.

      Ale muszę się z Tobą zgodzić, że to Twoja interpretacja jest poprawna, w jej świetle rysunki ilustrujące tę zasadę nagle stają się dla mnie zrozumiałe. No i zrozumiały staje się jej wysoki koszt ;) Szkoda, ze nie znalazło to odbicia w tekście instrukcji. Powinno to brzmieć mniej więcej tak: „Możesz wybudować drugi, dodatkowy dom na dowolnej ulicy, obok już istniejącego domu. Drugi dom musi mieć ten sam numer i przylegać z lewej albo z prawej strony… (itd.)”
