Karczma nijak mi się nie znudziła, wciąż mam ją w kolekcji i wciąż chętnie w nią grywam. Dlatego zdecydowałam się przetestować dodatek. Nie dlatego, że mi było mało samej Karczmy w Karczmie. Ale ciężkie życie recenzenta nijak nie daje pograć w ograne przed rokiem tytuły. Choćby były najbardziej ulubione. A zatem wychodząc na przeciw swoim własnym pragnieniom wyciągnęłam dłoń po Pokoje gościnne. I stało się! Wreszcie miałam okazję położyć na stół ukochaną Karczmę bez wyrzutów sumienia :)

Uwielbiam nowinki w świecie gier planszowych. Jeśli tylko na rynku pojawia się tytuł, w którym dzieje się coś innego, niż wykładanie kart, rzucanie kośćmi, odkrywanie kafelków, czy też klasyczne przekładanie mepli, na pewno zwróci on moją uwagę. W pierwszym odcinku Historii gier w Polsce cytowałem fragmenty poematu Kochanowskiego na temat szachów. To nie Jan z Czarnolasu był jednak tym, który pierwszy wpadł na pomysł uczynienia gry w szachy tematem literackiego dzieła. Wcześniej zrobił to włoski poeta i biskup Marco Girolamo Vida. Są to: Shadow Glyphs i Zip City. Niedługo ma pojawić się kolejna, czyli Wsiąść do pociągu: Zmiana Toru. Miałam okazję wypróbować oba tytuły, które miały już swoje premierę. Dziś podzielę się z Wami moimi wrażeniami na temat pierwszego z nich.

Postaw na klocka

Postaw na klocka od wydawnictwa Muduko… jakoś trudno mi uwierzyć, że tytuł tej gry został dobrany zupełnie przypadkowo. Myślę też, że nie jestem jedyną osobą, w której wzbudził on jakieś uczucia. U mnie była to konsternacja. Wiem jednak, że u innych redaktorów Games Fanatic wywołał on salwy śmiechu. Czy sama gra wzbudza równie dużo emocji? Sprawdźmy! Zapraszam do lektury recenzji.

Mitropia to gra dystrybuowana przez wydawnictwo Moria Games, która jak dotąd nie zdobyła należytej uwagi. A szkoda (i to nie dlatego, że wśród twórców znajdziemy kilka polskich nazwisk), gdyż już znalazła się na wyprzedażach. Ten abstrakt osadzony w „starożytnym” świecie jest nie tylko ciekawą wariacją na temat klasycznej gry – Go, lecz także w dość ciekawych sposób podchodzi do mechaniki area majority. Skoro poruszamy się w takich klimatach, ja również zagaje klasycznie: zajrzyjmy do pudełka i zobaczmy, jak spisuje się rozgrywka.

Trek 12 – w szeregach i obszarach pośród gór [Współpraca reklamowa z Rebel] Wydawca nie ma wpływu na treść recenzji

Ostatnio mam wrażenie, że każdą moją recenzję muszę zaczynać od zaznaczenia miłości do danego gatunku. Tak się jakoś dość fortunnie składa. I tym razem przyznaje się bez bicia – jestem fanką wykreślanek, zwłaszcza tych zmyślnych oraz precyzyjnie skrojonych. A jak jeszcze temat jest oryginalny i ciekawy, to w to mi graj. Jakiś czas temu na rynku pojawił się Trek 12 od wydawnictwa Rebel. Nie było o niem zbyt głośna, a szkoda, gdyż jest to naprawdę sprytny i bardzo przyjemny filler, który niejednym może nas zaskoczyć.

Historia gier w Polsce – część 2. Czasy Rzeczypospolitej Obojga Narodów Felieton

Jan Ponętowski, wychowanek Akademii Krakowskiej, w latach 1577-1587 opat w miejscowości Hradište na Morawach, był kolekcjonerem dzieł sztuki. Z jego kolekcji pochodzi „klocek introligatorski”, czyli połączenie kilku osobnych, samoistnych wydawniczo dzieł w ramach jednej oprawy. W tym przypadku dziełami są m.in. zbiór modlitw w języku niemieckim i 40 ilustracji z odbiciami drzeworytów Hansa Holbeina. Co ciekawe, wewnątrz tego zbioru znajdują się ukryte zaczepy, po odblokowaniu których ukazuje się coś takiego.
