Tydzień minął nam raczej pod znakiem gier rodzinnych, choć i cięższe perełki się znajdą. Od nich też zresztą zaczniemy, przypominając tytuł sprzed prawie dekady i dwa nieco nowsze. Następnie faktycznie poczytacie o sześciu zdecydowanie lżejszych tytułach, by zamknąć całość Wallace’ową klamrą. Wygląda na to, że redaktorzy albo są bardzo łaskawi w swoich sądach… Albo po prostu lubią grać w fajne gry!

Kilka miesięcy temu ukazała się polska wersja karcianki opartej na bardzo popularnej grze komputerowej – World of Tanks: Rush. Miałem okazję ją recenzować, pisząc kilka ciepłych słów, ale też wskazując na parę niedostatków, czy wręcz wad. Gra łącząca planszówki i gry online widać sprawdziła się w ocenie marketingowców, bo oto od kilku tygodni możemy się cieszyć pierwszym dużym dodatkiem.

Złoty wiek Hiszpanii, czyli wiek XVI oraz I połowa wieku XVII, to czasy największej świetności tego państwa. Ogromne bogactwa, jakie przyniosły z sobą podboje kolonialne, sprawiły, że królowie hiszpańscy stali się najpotężniejszymi władcami w Europie. Reszta państw starego kontynentu: Anglia, Francja, Zjednoczone Prowincje Niderlandów, dopiero dołączała do tego wyścigu i rywalizacji w Nowym Świecie. W tych czasach miejscem, gdzie uprawiano politykę były dwory władców. To tam, wśród intryg i toczącej się nieustannie walki o wpływy, kształtowano najważniejsze decyzje. Nic więc dziwnego, że to właśnie dwory stanowiły główne ośrodki życia politycznego kraju, pochłaniając przy tym niebagatelne sumy ze skarbca.

Trzeba dbać o zęby. Wiedzą to wszyscy dorośli (mam nadzieję), dzieci oraz … smoki. Te ostatnie postanowiły o higienę jamy ustnej zadbać w nietypowy (a może i typowy dla smoków) sposób. Postanowiły, pod groźba spalenia okolicznych osad, zmusić ich mieszkańców do czyszczenia swoich zębów. Nam więc nie pozostało nic innego, jak wcielić się w wodzów tychże wiosek i wysłać najdzielniejszych wojów do tej jakże brudnej roboty.

Talat, czyli po trzykroć logicznie

Gry logiczne to gatunek na wskroś czysty. Nie zaprzątają głowy fajerwerkami grafik, choć bywają piękne. Nie mieszają w głowie niezwykłą przygodą, choć przy stole potrafią się pojawić najgorętsze emocje. Nie porażają wreszcie mnogością zasad, choć są najtrudniejszym typem gier. Tak, gry logiczne to dla mnie sama esencja pojęcia „gra”, prawdziwy pojedynek umysłów, na którego wynik mają wpływ tylko właściciele tych umysłów. Talat dodatkowo wyróżnia się na tym tle, ponieważ zaprojektowano go z myślą o trzech osobach. Jak ten dizajn wyszedł? Zobaczmy.

Czaiłam się, czaiłam i w końcu się przyczaiłam. Kemet od początku mnie przerażał, ale jednocześnie wszystko we mnie mnie do tej gry ciągnęło. Klimat, wykonanie, rozwijanie swojego stronnictwa / cywilizacji / armii (niepotrzebne skreślić ;)) – jak zwał tak zwał, ważne że sie rozwija, a co się rozwija dobre jest i pożądane jak papier toaletowy za komuny. Jedno mnie tylko (albo aż) przerażało – trzeba będzie walczyć. Oj, oj, będzie bolało….
