Incan Gold to jedna z tych małych, szybkich gierek, w których główną rolę odgrywa psychologia, a nie strategia. Obecny w niej element równoczesnego zagrywania kart wywołuje dreszczyk emocji i każe nam się domyślać, co planują inni. Dotychczas moją ulubioną grą zawierającą tę mechanikę było Hoity Toity, ale Incan Gold też przeżyło okres świetności na moim stole, tym bardziej, że jest w obsłudze prostsze od świetnej gry Taubera i grę zabierałam także na zajęcia w szkole. Podejrzewam, że w wesołym towarzystwie, podczas swobodnego wieczoru, można się zabawić nawet kilka razy pod rząd, jakkolwiek to teraz zabrzmiało…

Zasady, jak nadmieniłam, są proste. Oto mamy piramidę, czyli w praktyce 5 kart, które w takową układamy. Pod każdą wkładamy jeszcze kartę cennego artefaktu, żeby była większa motywacja pchać się w zakamarki oblepionych pajęczynami korytarzy.

Piramida Inków

Gracze – podróżnicy, wielcy odkrywcy, następcy Marco Polo (choć są wątpliwości czy facet w ogóle ruszył się z domu), czy chociażby rodzimego Tomka Wilmowskiego mają do dyspozycji namiocik i dwie karty: z pochodnią i bez. Ogólnie rzecz ujmując, zagrywając kartę z pochodnią idzimy dalej wgłąb piramidy, zagrywając „bez” – wychodzimy.

Na początku każdej z 5 rund odkrywany zostaje artefakt spod jednej części piramidy i przez kilka (najczęściej) tur gracze mogą eksplorować jej wnętrze. Na turę składa się równoczesne wyłożenie przez wszystkich graczy jednej z dwu kart (czyli decyzja, czy leźć dalej, czy zmykać) i odkrycie kolejnej karty korytarza.
W efekcie, w trakcie gry, powstaje taka karciana dróżka usłana a to diamentami lub artefakcikami, a to jakimś paskudztwem.

Piramida i odchodzący od niej korytarz

 

Jeśli karta korytarza ukazuje skarby to ich odpowiedniki 3D lądują na karcie i nic złego się nie dzieje. Jeśli na korytarz wyskoczyła jakaś paskuda pokroju żmiji, zombie, czy po prostu sufit zawalił nam się na głowę, to trzeba sprawdzić, czy jest to pierwsza karta tego rodzaju, czy niestety druga. Pierwsza nic nie robi, druga kończy rundę.

Paskudztwa

A co z decyzjami graczy? Otóż, ci co zostali w środku (zagrali pochodnię) i napotkali kartę ze świecidełkami, dzielą się nimi i upychają pod pachę (co nie dało się podzielić – zostaje). Niestety, ryzykują także pojawienie się drugiej karty tego samego nieszczęścia, w przypadku której kończą rundę z niczym. Tzn, z życiem, ale z gołymi rękami, bo zebrane dotąd w tej rundzie diamenty w panice gubią.

Inna wersja korytarza

 

Natomiast tchórze (lub, jak kto woli, przezorni) uciekający z piramidy biorą ze sobą to, co dotąd zebrali oraz wszystkie pozostawione po drodze niedobitki diamencików, ale także muszą się nimi równo podzielić. Wszystko chowają do namiocika, a co w namiociku na pewno już nie zginie. I czekają, aż pozostałym sufit wreszczie spadnie na głowę lub zeżre ich pająk mutant.

 

Oszczędny namiocik

Najciekawsza rzecz kryje się w ostatniej zasadzie. Jeśli chętny do wyjścia jest tylko jeden, zabiera także ze sobą wszystkie artefakty (te spod pramidy i te z korytarzy). A to z reguły dużo punktów. Ten element nadaje rozgrywce największego smaczku poprzez tłukące się pod czaszką wieczne pytanie: kiedy oni wszyscy będą do jasnej ciasnej wychodzić???

Opinia 

Grałam w Incan Gold wiele razy. Zawsze było emocjonująco, choć zdarza się, że karty zagrożeń wychodzą szybko i gęsto. Czasem bywa też tak, że wszyscy zwlekają z wyjściem, aby w pojedynkę zabrać artefakty i wszystkich w końcu połyka żmija. Ale na nową rundę wypluwa, więc spoko. Odpaść w tej grze nie można.

Znikoma ilość zasad, znane nazwiska autorów, przystępność wiekowa – Incan Gold warto mieć, jeśli lubimy ten rodzaj zabawy. Zabawy w domyślanie się, blefowanie, paplanie bez sensu i mylenie przeciwników. Chociaż można grać i na cicho, jak ja. Ale nie da się ukryć, że jest to propozycja bardzo bardzo prosta i ta prostota może się w końcu znudzić nawet jako chwilerek. Ile można się bawić w przygodową wersję „wojny”, gdzie odkrywamy kolejne karty i albo wygrywamy, albo przegrywamy?

Istnieje wcześniejsza i osławiona wersja gry, pt. Diamant (m.in. rekomendacja Spiel des Jahres), w której nie było jeszcze artefaktów, ale której komponenty cieszą się ogólnie większą estymą. Także więc, wybór między jedną a drugą wersją należy do ewentualnych zainteresowanych.

Diamant: Zamiast namiocików, zamiast matowych świecidełek i w naturalnym środowisku :)
