W czasie kiedy powinniśmy unikać wychodzenia na zewnątrz, spotkania ze znajomymi stały się czymś nieosiągalnych, a ja gram w domu głównie z synem, król kwarantanny jest u mnie jeden, choć w aż trzech postaniach (a w zasadzie pudełkach). Postaciach takich samych, a jednak skierowane do trochę innego odbiorcy. Królem tym jest Similo, wydane w Polsce przez Fox Games.

Similo to seria malutkich gierek (gabarytowo przypominających Monopoly Deal). W skład pakietu wydanego przez Fox Games wchodzą Historia, Mity i Baśnie. Zasady wszystkich gier są identyczne.

Najpierw jeden z graczy (nazwijmy go prowadzącym) losuje kartę postaci z talii, ogląda ją i zapamiętuje. Następnie dolosowuje do niej 11 kolejnych kart postaci, tasuje wszystkie i układa odkryte na stole. W kolejnym kroku dociąga kolejnych 5 kart na rękę. Za ich pomocą będzie starał się naprowadzić pozostałych graczy na to, którą kartę obejrzał na początku.

Na odgadnięcie właściwej postaci współgracze mają pięć rund. W każdej z nich gracz prowadzący będzie wykłada z ręki jedną kartę, dając wskazówkę pozostałym. Jeżeli postać wyłoży pionowo, to znaczy, że ma ona jakąś wspólną cechę z postacią, którą widział prowadzący. Jeżeli poziomo – takiej wspólnej cechy (przynajmniej wg prowadzącego) nie ma.

Po każdej podpowiedzi gracze zgadujący muszą wyeliminować jakieś postacie ze stołu. W pierwszej rundzie będzie to jedna postać, w drugiej dwie, w kolejnych – trzy i cztery, a w ostatniej, kiedy na stole pozostaną już tylko dwie karty muszą wskazać właściwą. Oczywiście, jeżeli po drodze zgadującym podwinie się nowa i wyeliminują postać, którą zobaczył prowadzący, wszyscy przegrywają.

Similo to bardzo prosta i krótka gra. Jednocześnie bardzo wciąga i pobudza w graczach syndrom jeszcze jednej partii. Gameplayowo najbardziej przypomina Tajniaków, koncepcyjnie zahacza również trochę o Dixita. Pomysłowy zabieg wskazywania podobieństw (lub różnic) kart na stole daje szeroki wachlarz możliwości. W jednej rundzie podobieństwem będzie płeć, wiek czy rasa postaci, w innej epoka w której żyły lub baśnie z których pochodzą. Dzieci, które z historią czy mitologią nie miały jeszcze styczności te podobieństwa będą wskazywały bardzie wprost, np. złowieszczy uśmiech, spiczaste uszy czy piegi na twarzy danej postaci.

Mimo moich lekkich obaw 9-latek nie miał też żadnych problemów ze zrozumieniem koncepcji podwójnego zaprzeczenia i wiedział, że kiedy wskazuję osobę podobną do widzianej przeze mnie postaci, to on musi wyeliminować postacie niepodobne, a jak wskazuję postać, która nie ma cechy podobnej do poszukiwanej, to on musi odkładać postacie podobne do wyłożonej przeze mnie.

Jak wspomniałem na początku, mechanika wszystkich trzech gier jest identyczna, jednak moim zdaniem skierowane są one do nieco innego odbiorcy. Baśnie zainteresują przede wszystkim w najmłodszych graczy, którzy z pewnością słyszeli bajki o Czerwonym Kapturku, Jasiu i magicznej fasoli czy przygodach Piotrusia Pana. Mity mogą się spodobać dzieciom wieku szkolnym, które spotkały się już gdzieś z mitologią grecką, ale mogą również zachęcić do niej młodszych odbiorców. Historia trafi zapewne w gusta starszej młodzieży i dorosłym, szczególnie zainteresowanym tematami historycznymi.

Ja w Similo zagrałem do tej pory około 20 razy głównie w składzie dwuosobowym, który sprawdza się bardzo dobrze. Graliśmy z synem przede wszystkim w Baśnie i Mity, a z żoną również w Historię. Gry z czystym sumieniem polecam, nie tylko ze względu na ciekawą mechanikę i wciągający gameplay, ale też z uwagi na prześliczne grafiki i walor edukacyjny. Sprawdzą się składzie dwuosobowym, w gronie rodzinnym, jak i na imprezach. Powinny przypaść do gustu szczególnie fanom Tajniaków, a z uwagi na mniejszy próg wejścia, krótszy czas rozgrywki czy możliwość grania już w dwie osoby, mogą stanowić dla nich realna konkurencję.

Co znaczy ta ocena według Games Fanatic?
Bardzo dobry przedstawiciel swojego gatunku, godny polecania. Wady mało znaczące, nie przesłaniające mocno pozytywnego odbioru całości. Gra daje dużo satysfakcji.
