Jednym słowem to kolejna słowna gra imprezowa, jakich wiele. Jest jednak coś, co ją wyróżnia – to gra kooperacyjna. Nie przepadam za tym typem gier, ale dałam się skusić, bo imprezówki kocham. Mogę w nie zagrać w każdym towarzystwie i na odwrót – każdy z moich znajomych niezależnie od tego czy jest w tym nowy, czy jest starym wyjadaczem, imprezówce nie odmówi.

Komponenty mieszczą się w niewielkim pudełku i są to: karty, tabliczki i mazaki. Zawsze szanuję grę, w której nie muszę nic pisać na papierze, a ścieralne plastikowe tabliczki są nie tylko na swój sposób ekologiczne, ale i po prostu bardzo wygodne. Mazaki jak to mazaki – po jakimś czasie się wypiszą, ale wróżę im długie życie, bo póki co po tych kilkunastu partiach wciąż piszą bez zarzutu. Jakość wykonania tabliczek jest świetna – to porządny, gruby plastik, solidny, a przede wszystkim „śliski” więc pisanie po nim idzie jak po maśle. Ścieranie również!

W Jednym słowem możemy zagrać od 3 do 7 graczy. Jako, że jest to gra kooperacyjna, walczymy wszyscy o to, żeby zdobyć wspólnie jak najwięcej punktów. W każdej grze musimy zgadnąć 13 haseł. W turze gracza odkrywa on jedną kartę (nie zwracając uwagi na hasła!) i wybiera numer od 1 do 5, bo tyle haseł jest na karcie. Pozostali gracze piszą w tajemnicy na swoich tabliczkach jedno skojarzenie, a następnie wspólnie sprawdzają, czy u kogoś nie powtórzyły się słowa. Jeśli tak się stało, zostaja zmazane, a aktywnemu graczowi pokazuje się jedynie niepowielające się wyrazy, dzięki któym musi on zgadnąć główne hasło. Jeśli się pomyli, gracze tracą punkt, jeśli zgadnie zyskują, a jeśli spasuje, nic się nie dzieje. Gra trwa aż wszystkie 13 kart się skończy. W zależności od wyniku, sprawdzamy w instrukcji jak dobrze (lub źle) nam poszło.

Rozgrywka nie trwa dugo, nie dłuży się, dzięki czemu praktycznie za każdym razem zechcemy zagrać znowu, aby koniecznie poprawić swój wynik. Gra ma bardzo proste zasady, a mimo to wydaje się być trudna, bo ciężko jest osiągnąć wysokie wyniki. Gracze muszą się nieźle nagłowić, żeby nie wpisać skojarzenia łatwego, bo takie raczej na pewno zostanie powielone, ale też nie za trudnego, bo przez nie z kolei można ciężej zgadnąć. Można się jednak w tej grze popisać i wykazać sprytem, jak na przykład zrobia to moja siostra przy haśle „promień”. Na swojej tablicze wpisała po prostu… „r” ;)

Niezależnie od liczby graczy – nie jest lekko. Kiedy gramy w 3 osóby, mamy tylko dwa możliwe skojarzenia do podpowiedzi, a jeśli obie osoby wpiszą to samo, zgadujący nie ma jak wtrafić się w hasło. Jeśli natomiast gramy w 7 osób, mamy większą szansę, że kilka skojarzeń się pokryje, albo ktoś wpisze coś „od czapy” i skieruje zgadującego na zupełnie inny, zły tor myślenia. Z jednej strony te trudności są wkurzające, szczególnie jeśli gramy z osobami, które nie mają wyobraźni i wpisują najprostsze, a tym samym powielające się hasła. Z drugiej strony właśnie to sprawia, że gra jest wymagająca, co odróżnia ją od innych imprezówek.

W Jednym słowie trzeba myśleć. Wyczuć, co mogą wpisać inni gracze, znaleźć w głowie kilka skojarzeń i wybrać z nich to najlepsze i oryginalne, ale oprócz tego pamiętać także, że zgadującego trzeba trochę naprowadzić. Na przykład mając hasło „serce” i skojarzenia „miłość”, „amor”, „czerwony” nie jest tak łatwo zgadnąć, o co właściwie chodziło. Warto więc pamiętać o określeniu słowa, np. „narząd” albo w przypadku hasła „samochód” wpisać „pojazd”. Brzmi banalnie, ale nie zawsze gracze o tym pamiętają, siląc się na przesadną oryginalność :) Zawsze warto dwa razy pomyśleć, zanim coś wpiszemy – to główna zasada tej gry!

Dzięki naprawdę sporej ilości kart i aż 5 hasłom na każdej, gra jest regrywalna. Tym bardziej, jeśli gramy z różnymi osobami – tak jak każdy jest inny, tak i skojarzenia mogą padać najróżniejsze. Poza tym nawet jeśli ogramy grę wiele razy, zawsze możemy dać sobie od niej odetchnąć i wrócić za jakiś czas, ze świeżym umysłem znów cieszyć się każdą rozgrywką.

Jednym słowem polubiłam za to, że wyróżnia się od innych imprezówek poziomem trudności, trzeba przy niej wytężyć umysł i trochę pomyśleć. Z drugiej strony mimo iż jest to kooperacja, tak rzadka w imprezówkach, mamy wrażenie że już kiedyś graliśmy w coś podobnego. Przy grze na pewno będzie wiele śmiechu, emocji, zaangażowania. Interakcja jest spora, czasem nawet zdaje się, że ktoś komuś próbuje czytać w myślach ;) Skalowanie też wypada dobrze, choć im więcej osób, tym jednak trochę łatwiej, bo więcej skojarzeń. Koniecznie muszę wspomnieć jeszcze o instrukcji, na którą zawsze zwracam uwagę – przykłady słów zakazanych są tam naprawdę fajnie i przejrzyście przedstawione, odniosłam wręcz wrażenie, że właśnie takiego opisu brakowało mi w innych grach typu Taboo czy Time’s up. Jednym słowem to naprawdę fajna imprezówka, która zachęciła mnie do bliższego kontaktu z grami kooperacyjnymi, tak nielubianymi przeze mnie. Szybka, z łatwymi zasadmi, trochę wymagająca – idealnie sprawdzi się w każdym gronie.

Co znaczy ta ocena według Games Fanatic?
Dobry, solidny produkt. Gra może nie wybitnie oryginalna, ale wciąż zapewnia satysfakcjonującą rozgrywkę. Na pewno warto ją przynajmniej wypróbować. Do ulubionych gier jednak nie będzie należała.
