Petrichor – w tłumaczeniu oznacza zapach ziemi po deszczu – to piękna i nietypowa nazwa dla gry planszowej, dzięki czemu łatwo ją zapamiętać. Czy jednak po pierwszej rozgrywce w naszej pamięci zostanie obraz przyjemnej gry, czy może szybko zapomnimy o Petrichorze? Zapraszam do przeczytania moich przemyśleń po pierwszej partii.

Przede wszystkim chciałabym na początku nadmienić, że miałam przyjemność przeprowadzić wywiad z autorem – Davidem Chircopem. Ukaże się on na łamach Games Fanatic już niedługo, a jest na co czekać! Soczysty i obfity w ciekawostki z życia twórcy gier, ale nie tylko planszowych, a komputerowych także! Perspektywa naprawdę fascynująca :)

Petrichorem zainteresowałam się przy okazji Essen 2017, ale zagrać miałam okazję dopiero niedawno. Co tu dużo mówić – okładka zachęca do zapoznania się z produktem. Jest minimalistyczna, piękna i ma w sobie jakąś magię! Cała gra obfituje w takie śliczne grafiki, a elementy są wręcz genialne. Szklane kropelki, składane chmurki, ach i och!

Zasady nie są skomplikowane, choć czytając angielską instrukcję miałam wrażenie, że się gubię. Na szczęście dla wszystkich tych, którzy Petrichora jeszcze nie poznali – instrukcji po angielsku czytać wcale nie muszą, bo już w ciągu kilku miesięcy trafi on na rynek dzięki wydawnictwu Lucrum Games!

Na czym Petrichor polega?

Na środku kładziemy planszę z torem punktacji oraz torem pogody i 3 kości żniw, a także tworzymy z płytek (w zależności od liczby graczy) pole. Każdy z nas otrzymuje karty, którymi będzie operować w trakcie kilku tur – aż do spasowania przez jedną osobę, wtedy reszta ma jeszcze po jednym ruchu. W swojej turze możemy zagrać kartę, a opcjonalnie jako drugi ruch dwie takie same karty. Przy okazji dowolną kartę możemy zastąpić dwoma innymi. Istnieją 4 typy kart, a każda z nich odpowiada za coś innego: napełnianie chmur kropelkami, wylewanie kropelek na pola, poruszanie chmurą czy stworzenie nowej chmury.

Kiedy wykonamy akcję z karty lub kart – następuje głosowanie. Z dwóch z czterech możliwych opcji wybieramy jedną i tam kładziemy swój pion kontrolny (możemy też wybrać zmianę wyniku na kości żniw, za co dostajemy punkt. Po akcji zagrywania kart (a będzie ich 4 lub 6, w zależności od tego jak zadecydujemy na początku gry) dwie pogody, które zyskały najwięcej głosów będą rozpatrzone i one również mają różne efekty. Jeśli na wszystkich trzech kościach żniw widnieje symbol zboża – rozpatrujemy także turę żniw, dzięki której rozlane po płytkach krople przyniosą nam konkretne punkty, w zależności od tego na jakiej płytce leżą (na koniec gry faza żniw odbywa się zawsze).

Petrichor to gra bardzo intuicyjna, a karty pomocy dla gracza naprawdę się przydają. Boli mnie jedynie brak ikonek, bo nie jestem zwolenniczką tekstu czytanego, kiedy we współczesnych grach naprawdę wszystko można zastąpić ikonkami ;) Nie jest to jednak minus gry, a jedynie moje małe „widzimisię”.

Sama rozgrywka się nie dłuży, nie zauważyłam downtimeów, można pogłówkować i nieźle pokombinować, a przy okazji gra jest też bardzo klimatyczna. Chmurki, kropelki czy rośliny na płytkach – dzięki temu wszystkiemu naprawdę możemy poczuć w trakcie gry zapach ziemi po deszczu!

Karty i płytki dają wiele możliwości, dzięki czemu każda rozgrywka będzie niepowtarzalna i nie pozwoli się znudzić. Dodatkowo dzięki głosowaniu na pogodę mamy wpływ nie tylko na to, co dzieje się tu i teraz, ale i na to, co wydarzy się za jakiś czas. To daje nam możliwość podjęcia konkretnej strategii, ale musimy też uważać na przeciwników, żeby nie pokrzyżowali nam planów głosując na coś innego.

Petrichor oferuje nam także wersję zaawansowaną gry, w której karty na początku draftujemy, a także wariant solo. Dodatek natomiast pozwala nam zagrać w 5 osób, wprowadza nowe kafelki oraz karty.

Czyż ta kropelka nie jest cudowna?!

Gra jest nie tylko piękna, ale i pozwala cieszyć się z rozgrywki, a o nudzie raczej nie ma tu mowy. Petrichor na familijną grę raczej mi nie wygląda, bo kombinowania jest sporo, ale już przynajmniej średnio-zaawansowanym graczom powinna podejść! Mamy tu też element negatywnej interakcji, ale tylko jeśli sami o tym zdecydujemy! Dzięki ogromnej możliwości wyborów sami tworzymy wielowymiarową interakcję i po prostu cieszymy się tym, jak pięknie pachnie zapach ziemi po deszczu :) Ja już nie mogę się doczekać, aż zagram w polską wersję tej ślicznej gry!
