Dlaczego nazwa Games Fanatic.pl? Dlaczego nie gry-planszowe.pl, ktora jest starsza?

Rozważaliśmy to sprawę emocjonalnie i zdroworozsądkowo. gry-planszowe.pl to nazwa, za którą przemawia tradycja i wielkie zasługi dla renesansu planszówkowego w Polsce. Jednak dziś nazwa gry planszowe w wyszukiwarkach jest bardzo popularna, korzystają z niej w różnych wariacjach liczne sklepy, blogi i serwisy. Games Fanatic.pl pozwala bardziej wyróżniać się wśród planszówkowej rodziny. Co więcej zdecydowaliśmy się na zmianę domeny z .net na .pl, aby ułatwić znalezienie Games Fanatic w wyszukiwarkach internetowych.

Co z forum? Czy w jakikolwiek sposób się zmieni?

Bez obaw. Forum Gry-Planszowe.pl jako największe i najbardziej prężne miejsce dla planszomaniaków pozostanie takie jak było, pod tym samym adresem. Nikt nie odważyłby się go zmieniać. Skromne tematy z forum Games Fanatic.pl zostaną przeniesione na Forum gry-planszowe.pl. Nastąpią co najwyżej zmiany w bannerach i linkach (np. ze strony Games Fanatic będzie się wchodzi do forum gry-planszowe.pl).

Co z Grą Roku?

Na ustalenie szczegółów mamy jeszcze czas, ale też bez obaw. Na pewno Gra Roku pozostanie główną nagrodą i prawdopodobnie będziemy starać się utrzymać jej dotychczasową postać. Co najwyżej wprowadzić ulepszenia. Nagroda Gra Graczy GamesFanatic.net zostanie odpowiednio zmodyfikowana albo wręcz zlikwidowana, jeżeli nie będzie miała sensu swojego istnienia. Zobaczymy.

Co z osobami współpracującymi?

Wszystkie osoby współpracujące dotychczas z serwisem gry-planszowe.pl zostały zaproszone do aktywnej współpracy z Games Fanatic.pl. Bardzo na was liczymy.

Co z nazwami użytkowników ze strony gry-planszowe.pl?

Wszystkie komentarze znajdujące się pod artykułami i recenzjami zostały przeniesione z Gry-Planszowe.pl. Jednak, aby kontynuować komentowanie tekstów pod swoim nickiem (czy imieniem i nazwiskiem) trzeba będzie na nowo zarejestrować się w serwisie Games Fanatic.pl. Mowa oczywiście o tych osobach, które do tej pory na Games Fanatic.pl się nie rejestrowały.

    Trochę inne style prezentowane są na obu serwisach. Gry-planszowe.pl to raczej suche informacje, recenzje, a na gamesfanatic często trafiają się ciekawostki, czy plotki. Jaki styl planujecie prowadzić na nowej stronie?

    „dziś nazwa gry planszowe w wyszukiwarkach jest bardzo popularna”
    Hmm, no właśnie, skoro jest taka popularna to dlaczego rezygnować z odwiedzin ludzi wpisujących takie właśnie hasło w wyszukiwarkach? Dlaczego nie pozostać przy polskiej nazwie serwisu, a trwać przy wszechobecnej angielszczyźnie? Rozumiem że zostało to przemyślane i przedyskutowane, ale nie sądzę by była to dobra decyzja.
    Poza tym pomysł fuzji bardzo mi się podoba.

    @Wookie, @Tomasz – te pytania się oba łączą. zdecydowaliśmy się na utrzymanie stylu gf a nie gp, i dlatego została taka nazwa.

    Jak zmiany to może weźmiecie pod uwagę kilka propozycji. Jestem za prostotą i przejrzystością tak więc:
    1. Także jestem za tym by Zarejestruj się i Zaloguj było tam gdzie Bóg przykazał, czyli w prawym górnym rogu tak jak w większości serwisów.
    2. Top 10 w Sklepach wiszące 24 godziny na dobę z prawej strony to przegięcie. Można tylko by było skrót zrobić. Ani ten ranking mi potrzebny jest jak notowania na giełdzie, by ciągle wisiał, a i jego zawartość merytoryczna jest wątpliwa. Skrót by wystarczył. Może chociaż Top 3 z rozwijaną listą do Top 10?
    3. Panel „Cykle artykułów” z Bannerami jest za bardzo pstrokaty. Może by tak zrobić jedynie linki, albo ujednolicić szatę graficzną wszystkich banerów (by to bardziej spójne było i nie biło po oczach).
    Poza tym świetna robota, regularnie was czytam i powodzenia na nowej drodze życia.

    Czy otwarcie gry-planszowe.pl będzie otwierało gamesfanatic.pl? (redirect?) czy też stary portal będzie wisaił jako duch z notką –> tędy do krainy szczęśliwości? :)

    I nie, NIE wszystkie osoby współpracujące dotychczas z serwisem gry-planszowe.pl zostały zaproszone do aktywnej współpracy z Games Fanatic.pl

    Otwarcie gry-planszowe.pl będzie otwierało Rebel.pl ;).

    Gry-planszowe to częste słowo wpisywane w wyszukiwarkach i ktoś zdecydował się w końcu na tym zarobić :). I tak powinno być.

    wszystkie osoby zostaly zaproszone poprzez wpis na wewnetrznym forum redakcji g-p.pl . jak rozumiem nataniel nie chcial sie zastanawiac ktory z czlonkow redakcji jeszcze sie czuje aktywny, a ktory uzna takie zaproszenie emailem za spam.

    taka uwaga techniczna – tylko newsy miały być nie przeniesione z g-p.pl, ale jak klikam w recenzję np. Wojna o ryż czy Descent (artykuły z 17.02. i 19.01) to przenosi wprawdzie na GamesFanatic, ale pojaiwa się tekst 'Niestety brak tekstów pasujących do twoich kryteriów’.

    A ja mam prośbę, żebyście pisali nową nazwę strony razem: „GamesFanatic.pl” i zrobili z tego link, bo w pewnym momencie zgłupiałem i nie wiedziałem już jaka będzie ta nowa strona

    Poza tym gratulacje i czekam z niecierpliwością na duże zmiany w funkcjonalności serwisu :) W końcu z bloga zrobi się jakiś portal, prawda?

    jax > te dwa teksty zostaly juz poprawione – testowalem na nich konwerter i zostawilem je jako testowe niechcacy ;-)

    stalker > tak jak pisalo w newsie: „Za kilka dni także strona główna będzie przekierowywała od razu na nowy adres.”. Z Google ciagle bedzie mozna wejsc na newsy i niektore podstrony. Wiekszosc podstron jednak tez zostanie przeniesiona (gdzie grać, itp.)

    Osobiście boję się, że przez taką zmianę straci na popularności ten serwis. Gry-planszowe były naprawdę dobrze rozpoznawalne. W moim odczuciu Games Fanatic było w dużej mierze rozpoznawalne dzieki serwisowi gry-planszowe.pl przez to ktory serwis ludzie odkkrywali GF. Oczywiście to, że gry-planszow zostanie wykorzystane w komercyjnych celach w zupełności rozumiem i nie mam nic przeciwko ale nie sądzę żeby taka zamiana miała dobry wpływ na rozpoznawalość serwisu, trafienie tutaj szukających ludzi informacji itd będzie naprawde duzo trudniejsze. GF ma swój klimat i niesądzę żeby to dobrze wpłynło na ten serwis takze. Jednak ciężko powiedzieć tak naprawdę co by było lepsze a co gorsze… zobaczymy z czasem. Mam jednak przeczucie ze serwis gry-planszowe.pl powinien istniej dalej pod niezalznym adresem i nie powinien się łączyć. Games Fanatic jako nazwa nie sugeruje, że to serwis o grach planszowych, za to serwis gry-planszow.pl jak najbardziej ;) ale to moim zdaniem dosyc ważne.

    Pozatym zgadzam się z Wookie, że serwisy faktycznie prowadziły inny styl.

    W kazdym razie życzę powodzenia w nowej drodze i mam nadziej ze wszystko pojdzie w dobra strone :)

    Warto by jeszcze gdzieś przenieść „Parę słów na początek…”, które widzimy na stronie głównej Gry-planszowe.pl (zresztą autor jest współpracownikiem ;)

    Gdyby ktoś miał jakieś uwagi do tego — to chyba najlepszy moment na ich zgłoszenie :)

    @ bajeczny: Acha, owszem, GamesFanatic nie jest natychmiastowo rozpoznawalny jako strona o grach, ale ponieważ wiele osób wpadnie tu za pośrednictwem wyszukiwarki, najważniejsze, aby opis strony był jasny i dawał punkt zaczepienia tym, co wylądują tu po raz pierwszy — vide mój komentarz powyżej. Więc przed redakcją jeszcze trochę pracy, ale wiele już mamy tylko trzeba odpowiednio to podłączyć :)
