Zgodnie z zapowiedzią kontynuuję dziś wyliczankę rozpoczętą przedwczoraj w poprzednim wpisie. Tam też dokładniej wyjaśniam, o co chodzi, tu tylko w skrócie przypominam: wziąłem listę najbardziej utytułowanych projektantów i podglądam, co przygotowali na tegoroczne targi w Essen. Dziś zaczynamy od pozycji jedenastej na wspomnianej liście.

Francuz jest autorem kilku gier prezentowanych na targach. Lubi on twórczość zespołową, zatem aż trzy z nich powstały we współpracy (Corentin Lebrat, Ludovic Maublanc, Théo Rivière). Arkeis – kooperacyjna fabularna kampania figurkowa w klimatach egipskich. Ninja Academy – imprezowa zręcznościówka o szkoleniu na… ninję. Super Cats – kolejna imprezówka, tym razem o kocich superbohaterach walczących z robo-psem. Bez współautorów powstały natomiast dwie reimplementacje znanych hitów: Last Bastion, czyli nowa wersja Ghost Stories, oraz Namiji, czyli kontynuacja Tokaido.

Nic. Patrz – inni typowo amerykańscy projektanci.

Co nowego na tegoroczne Essen stworzył Alexander Pfister?

No, doczekaliśmy się wreszcie poważniejszych eurotytułów. Po pierwsze Maracaibo, kolejna cięższa-niż-lżejsza gra ekonomiczna, tym razem osadzona na Karaibach. Po drugie Expedition to Newdale, gra osadzona w „uniwersum” O mój zboże!, ale tym razem coś większego i nawet z kampanią.

 

Co nowego na tegoroczne Essen stworzył Rüdiger Dorn?

Autor znany z klasyków takich jak Goa i Istanbul ma na Essen kilka nowości. Dodatek do Montany z bydłem długorogim, czyli Montana: Longhorns. Rune Stones od Queen Games – deckbuilder o druidach z interesującym twistem. Wreszcie Opale od (zabawny zbieg okoliczności) RUNES Editions – reimplementacja Dragonheart z nowymi wariantami, ale nadal o smokach.

Wraz z Nestore Mangone stworzyli niewielki dodatek do Newtona – Great Discoveries Expansion. Przede wszystkim jednak prezentowana będzie karciana wersja Lorenzo Il Magnifico, gra o imponująco długim tytule: Masters of Renaissance: Lorenzo Il Magnifico – The Card Game. Formalnie essenową nowością jest również Barrage, chociaż targi trudno raczej traktować jako jego premierę.

 

Co nowego na tegoroczne Essen stworzył Vital Lacerda?

Jedna z pozycji jest raczej oczywista – jakby nie było zajmuje pierwsze miejsce w rankingu najbardziej oczekiwanych. To naturalnie On Mars, jak na projektanta przystało – bardzo ciężkie euro. Jednak to nie wszystko – nazwiskiem Lacerda firmowany jest także dodatek do Railways of the World – Railways of Portugal (jakżeby inaczej). Ponownie formalnie grą z tego Essen jest Escape Plan, niekoniecznie najświeższa nowość.

 

Co nowego na tegoroczne Essen stworzył Jeroen Doumen?

Niektórych może zaskoczyć tak wysoka pozycja rankingowa tego mimo wszystko nieco mniej znanego nazwiska, ale zawdzięcza ją tytułom takim jak Food Chain Magnate i Indonesia. I to właśnie dodatek do tego pierwszego pojawi się na Essen – dodatek o fantastycznym tytule Food Chain Magnate: The Ketchup Mechanism & Other Ideas.

Co nowego na tegoroczne Essen stworzył Richard Borg?

Wygląda na to, że nic – jego wydawcy nie są zainteresowani Essen.

Co nowego na tegoroczne Essen stworzył Jamey Stegmaier?

Tu wszystko jasne: jedyną premierą-niepremierą jest Tapestry.

Co nowego na tegoroczne Essen stworzył Richard Garfield?

Od twórcy Magica na tym Essen znajdziemy Carnival of Monsters, karciankę draftową o chwytaniu potworów.

I tak doszliśmy do końca drugiej dziesiątki rankingu. Oczywiście zabawę dałoby się ciągnąć dalej, bo utalentowanych i znanych projektantów jest jeszcze wielu. Na kolejnych pozycjach jest Mac Gerdts z dodatkami do Concordii, Ignacy Trzewiczek z Królestwami Północy i Wyspami Japonii czy Phil Walker-Harding z dodatkiem do Parku niedźwiedzi. Ale kiedyś trzeba przerwać, szczególnie że targi już w pełni.

Ponownie bardzo proszę o zwrócenie uwagi, jeśli jakaś istotna pozycja mi umknęła. Mam nadzieję, że to zestawienie przyda się komuś do ogarnięcia essenowego chaosu.
